Alongside writing up my own research, I completed two peer reviews for PLOS ONE in August 2026 and a further review for Information Processing & Management in October. A reviewer reads another researcher’s manuscript, considers whether its methods and evidence support its conclusions, and sends comments to the journal.
The PLOS ONE reviews can be checked in the peer-review section of my ORCID record. PLOS supplied the record of review service completed in 2026, which was public when checked on 7 September. It identifies the organisation confirming the activity, rather than relying solely on a description I entered myself.
I have kept this account to a record of the service, without reproducing the manuscripts or my reviews. Another researcher’s unpublished work is not mine to use as a portfolio example. Manuscripts, authors, review comments and editorial decisions remain outside this account.
