Question
Can an identifier converter stop visibly when evidence is insufficient instead of returning a plausible but unsafe match?
Work completed so far
I designed the conversion contract, implemented explicit failure handling, and prepared the companion code and manuscript.
Current state
In review. Error cases and performance results are not yet public.
