BUSINESS EXPERIMENTS · 2026 · STOPPED BEFORE RELEASE
I began building the site, then stopped before publishing it. There was no partner, preorder, sale, or revenue.
A Korean-learning site for Latin American learners had been raised as one example among several business ideas. Production began before those options had been compared. I called that out and ended the build.
The checks that should have come first
The project had no verified audience, no person responsible for local-language review, and no partner with access to prospective learners. Adding more pages would not have answered any of those questions.
A different order of operations
The revised rule is to identify a real partner and a language-review path, then look for a demand or presale signal before investing in a complete site. If those gates stay empty, production does not continue.
I do not count the unpublished draft as a product. The useful outcome was catching a bad sequence—build first, validate later—before it consumed more work.
