PROJECT RECORD

FlowWorth: checking video specs before upload

PRODUCTS & SYSTEMS · 2026 · RELEASED · VERIFIED USERS 0

The FlowWorth page was publicly accessible. I have no evidence that anybody used it before a real upload. On 3 September 2026, the page showed a file picker, sample verdicts, platform evidence cards and a last-reviewed date. There were no verified users, affiliate approval or sales, and revenue was zero.

I built the preflight tool for a common end-of-production problem: one video file may be acceptable on one platform and need another edit for the next. The purpose was not to promise acceptance. It was to put a changing specification and its source beside the file check.

The specification problem arrived before the upload

After a video is finished, publishing it across several platforms can mean reopening multiple help pages to compare aspect ratio, duration, format and file-size constraints. A stale summary is especially risky: it looks convenient while quietly preserving an obsolete limit.

I therefore designed FlowWorth to show more than a verdict. It records which platform rule was reviewed and when. The selected file was intended to be read in the browser, while the result used cautious labels such as PASS and VERIFY to point to the next action.

Sources and review dates belong beside the result

Upload rules are not permanent product specifications. Help pages change, and account, region or post type can alter what happens next. FlowWorth paired its platform cards with source notes and review dates, and the internal operating plan included a weekly update watch. A condition that could not be established was meant to stay uncertain rather than be guessed.

Those are design choices and internal artifacts. The external check on 3 September established that the public page, interface, sample results and evidence cards loaded. It did not select a real video or inspect the browser’s network behaviour end to end. The intention to keep a file local and an independent observation that it remained local are therefore separate claims.

Release produced no market signal

The public release is documented. Traffic, repeat use, successful checks and error logs are not. No active affiliate link was observed, there were no sales, and no platform endorsed FlowWorth’s verdicts.

The result is consequently narrower than “solving video upload.” I released a tool that brought file inspection, platform evidence and a review date into one screen. Whether it prevented a failed upload or saved a creator time remains unknown.

A page that loads proves release. It does not prove that an upload failure was prevented.

What a further test would require

The next useful check is not another feature. It is a repeatable run with safe sample videos across the supported platforms, combined with a network inspection of what leaves the browser. Only then would it make sense to watch where real users are blocked before upload.

The evidence cards would still need sources and dates. Final platform acceptance, copyright review and account-specific restrictions remain outside the tool’s authority. What survives now is a conservative result model and an update rule; user value is still unverified.

Project record

  • Period: 2026
  • Activity: platform specification comparison; browser-check design; source cards and update monitoring
  • Internal evidence: checker interface, source brief, sample verdicts and weekly update record
  • Externally observed: the public page, file picker and evidence cards loaded on 3 September 2026
  • Final outcome: released; zero verified users, affiliate approval or revenue
  • Not established: real-file behaviour, local-only processing, platform acceptance, traffic, repeat use or user benefit
